Electrical Generator
Electrical Generator is a device used
to force electric charges to move through electronic
circuits by converting the mechanical energy to
electrical energy using electromagnetic induction. The
first electric generator was dynamo. The first dynamo
was built by Hippolyte Pixii. If we want to convert
electrical energy into mechanical energy then we use a
motor. In 1831-1832 Michael Faraday discovered the
operating principle of electromagnetic generators. The
principle, later was called Faraday's law.
- Rotor: Rotating part of an
alternator, generator, dynamo or motor.
- Stator: The stationary part
of an alternator, generator, dynamo or motor.
