Advantages of Terminal
Emulation
- We do not require any
more terminals.
- Works with microcomputer
- We can download data onto
a microcomputer and local manipulation can
be done.
Disadvantages of Terminal
Emulation
- Data is insecure
- Unsimilar data types on
all computers or with the different
software.
- Unauthorized access
- With color terminals the
number and combinations of colors may be
different from those present with a
microcomputer.
