Binary to Decimal Conversion
For e.g we have a binary number say 1001 we
can convert by following steps:
We will have powers of 2 as0,1,2,3,4---n in
multiplication with binary number given above:
2 to power 0 *1+2 to power 1*0+2 to power
2*0+2 to power 3*1
=1+0+0+8=9
Hence 1001=9
How to take 2's complement of a binary
number
e.g 10011101 is the number
So, its 2's complement can be computed as
follows
10011101
01100010 -Inverted bits(1's complement)
01100011 - 2's complement
