ChandraYaan-India's Mission to the Moon
Chandrayaan or Chandrayaan-1 is mission by
the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), India's
national space agency. This is India's first mission to moon.
History was created on 22 October 2008 06:23 IST when
Chandrayaan was launched from Satish Dhawan Space Centre,
Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. The remote sensing satellite
weighs 1,308 kilograms .This mission of ISRO also includes
five ISRO payloads and six payloads from other international
space agencies including NASA, ESA, and the Bulgarian
Aerospace Agency, which have been carried without any
cost.Chandrayaan objective is to conduct scientific
experiments.
