Simple Transistor circuit
For designing this simple transistor circuit we must
have a PCB and solder wire along with
LED
a 560 ohms resistance 9v battery and
transitor.

The above figure shows a very simple transistor
circuit. When a finger is placed in the circuit where
shown, a tiny current of around 0.1mA flows which is not
enough to light the LED which needs min10mA. However the
tiny current is applied to the Base of the
transistor where it is boosted by a factor
(gain) of around 100 times and the
LED
lights

Using two or three wires, one
battery, and one light bulb, build a
simple circuit, a parallel
circuit, and a series
circuit
This activity allows pupils to
investigate
simple circuits by dragging
circuit components into place to make a
working
circuit.
